I am interested in the many elements of visual culture; specifically, documentary, ethnographic, and experimental films / videos. I am continually experimenting with the many philosophies of representation, and how to re-create the environment(s) and emotions of the people and places that I am documenting. My Interests extend into audience studies, photo/video solicitation, and new visual media and I am continually looking for new experiences and opportunities to learn, broaden, and question my ideas within the world of visual culture

Richard! Welcome aboard! If you're in Louisiana, you may want to check out the iDiDx Expo in Lafayette soon. There's a good panel discussion seminar on documentary work. I'll be at that one for sure! Check their event listing for details.
